to a BBQ Fellowship with Chinese Alumni
Summer is still in full bloom, but it’s not too early to think
about the Fall that will soon be falling upon us!
We have a tradition in the making - for the last few years, the
Chinese alumni have got together for a time of fellowship and renewal during
the fall time, and we can find no better time to do that again this year than
right on the day of the Chinese Fall Festival (中秋節).
This year, the Festival will fall on Monday September
24. As most of you know, it was originally a time to celebrate harvest.
What harvest have you seen in your life and ministry in the past year?
What can we celebrate together, and what can we grieve over together?
Anything you are looking for in terms of prayer support? More
importantly, how has your experience helped you “fall” in love with the Lord
even more?
As usual, the event will be intentionally structure-free.
There will be no set programs - just come, be yourself and share as much
or as little with as many or as few people as you want. If you don’t like
sharing anything with anyone at all, that’ll be perfectly fine too - let
yourself be surrounded and warmed by a group of broken and hurting people
like yourself!

Venue: Logos Baptist Church, Milliken - 133 Old
Kennedy Road, Markham
Cost: $10 per person (incl. food and drink)
