VIRTUAL RETIREMENT PARTY FOR NELLY!
Dear fellow alumni,
Ministry workers do not retire - but they do “re-tire”, i.e. get rid of old tires and put on new ones, so that they can go faster and farther!
It would be hard to imagine anyone in our midst who does not know Nelly. She has faithfully served at Tyndale University and Hudson Taylor Centre for over 20 years, and she will be officially “re-tiring” effective May 1, 2021.
Let’s cheer her on as she ventures into this new season of her life. The Alumni Association (Chinese Chapter) will be joining hands with the Hudson Taylor Centre to throw her a wild virtual party! Details are as follows:

Our First-Ever Virtual Chinese New Year Gathering!!
Hindsight is 2020 - pun intended! It’s been the most unusual year we have ever seen in our life-time. What have we learnt? What encouragement can we bring to one another as we step into a new year in the lunar calendar?
Let’s get together on what is commonly held in the Chinese community as “everyone’s birthday” (人日) to share our joy and our burden. There will also be a time of celebration with games, chats and a short greeting from Tyndale’s new president, Dr. Marjory Kerr. We welcome alumni all across Canada and even beyond to join.
