Alumni Association Chinese Chapter (AACC) Bursary
Excerpt
1. It is the desire of the AACC to fund this bursary as they are able. Bursary amounts may vary each year, as determined by funds raised. Bursaries awarded will be a minimum of $1,000.
2. One (1) bursary as the fund allows to provide a bursary to a Seminary student who meets all of the following criteria:
a. Full-time seminary student.
b. Demonstrates financial need.
Preamble
Tyndale University (“Tyndale”)
prepares people for work in the private, public, and
not-for-profit sectors, ministry, and the global mission of the Church. The
vision of Tyndale is to shape women and men who will be God’s agents of
transformation in the world. Tyndale will fulfill its mission by providing
unique educational experiences not available at other universities and
seminaries.
Gift
Acknowledgement
It is the
desire of the AACC to fund and provide this bursary as funds are available,
ideally annually. Tyndale will acknowledge the Gift by naming a bursary as Alumni Association Chinese Chapter
(AACC) Bursary.
Financial
Plan and Agreements
1. It is the desire of the AACC to fund
this bursary as they are able. Bursary amounts may vary each year, as
determined by funds raised.
a. Bursaries awarded will be a minimum of
$1,000.
b.
Funding
is in place to award the first bursary in the Fall 2025 semester in the amount
of $1,500.
c.
Funds
need to be in place by February 1st of the year they are to be
awarded.
2. One (1) bursary as the fund allows to
provide a bursary to a Seminary student who meets all of the following criteria:
a.
Full-time
seminary student.
b.
Demonstrates
financial need.
c.
Recipients
are eligible to receive this award once during their time of study.
3. Tyndale will annually inform the Donor of the bursary recipient.
4. Please note: The spending of funds is
confined to programs and projects approved by the organization. Should a donor
choose to restrict a contribution for use in a particular program or project,
we will honour that restriction, with the understanding that, when the need for
such a program or project has been met or cannot be completed for any reason as
determined by the organization, the remaining restricted contributions will be
used where most needed.
